Four UI Communication Sciences Students Passed the IISMA 2023 Scholarship Selection

Four Communication Sciences students of the Universitas Indonesia (UI) have been selected for the Indonesian International Student Mobility Awards (IISMA) scholarship, which will be held from February 2023. The four students are Victoria Emmanuella, Aditya Manggala, Adinda Nur, and Adefrid Marcelino. The four of them are students from the class of 2020.

Adefrid was successful to be an IISMA scholarship recipient and will attend lectures for one semester at the University of Warwick in Warwickshire, United Kingdom (UK). Adefrid’s study period in the UK will run from September 2023 to February 2024. This IISMA program will be addition additional in addition to the participant’s overall course length.

In addition to Adefrid, Victoria, also known as Vicky, won an IISMA scholarship and qualified for Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, Spain.

While preparing for departure, the student attends lectures regularly at the Communication Sciences, University of Indonesia.

IISMA is a scholarship awarded by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology (MoEC) of the Republic of Indonesia to fund Indonesian students for one semester to study at a leading university and industry abroad. Students from various universities in Indonesia take part in a series of selections, including document processing through their home university, diversity test, and interview. The selection was carried out from February until the announcement in mid-April. Preparation of applicants from UI itself is assisted through the UI Center for Independent Development (CIL).
