Biography

Donna Asteria was born in Bandung on May 14 1978, completed her Bachelor’s degree in the Bachelor of Communication Science Program, FISIP UI in 2000. Then, she continued her studies at the Master’s level in the Women’s Studies Postgraduate Program at the University of Indonesia, completing her studies in 2003. In 2012, she completed Doctoral degree at the Environmental Science Postgraduate Program, University of Indonesia. Since 2008 he has been a permanent lecturer (PNS) at the Department of Communication Sciences, FISIP UI, with an interest in conducting research in the fields of media, culture, gender and the environment. Currently, the theme of research and community service carried out is environmental communication and environmental education with a gender perspective, from 2014 to 2023 it has received PUPT, PDUPT, and PKDN grants from the Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education), and has a Google Scholar H-index of 13, and H- index scopus 4.
